Activity — Simple Past: regular and irregular verbs

Objetivo da atividade

Reconhecer e usar o Simple Past de verbos regulares e irregulares em frases afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas, descrevendo ações concluídas no passado em contextos do dia a dia.

Instruções para os alunos

• Leia cada enunciado com atenção antes de responder.
• Nas questões de completar, use a forma correta do verbo no Simple Past.
• Lembre-se: regulares terminam em -ed (work → worked); irregulares têm forma própria (go → went).
• Em negativas e perguntas, use did/didn't + verbo na forma base (não no passado).

Sugestão de aplicação para o professor

• Tempo estimado: 40 minutos.
• A questão 5 isola o erro mais comum nesta fase ("didn't went"): aproveite pra reforçar a regra do did + base form na lousa.
• A questão 6 (reading) pode virar produção oral: peça que os alunos contem o que fizeram no último fim de semana usando 3 verbos no Simple Past.
• Para níveis mais avançados (A2+), peça que escrevam um pequeno parágrafo sobre as férias passadas, em vez de só completar lacunas.
