Objetivo da atividade

Praticar o uso do Present Continuous (verbo to be + verbo principal com -ing) para descrever ações que acontecem no momento da fala, nas formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa, além de desenvolver a compreensão leitora a partir de um texto curto que contextualiza o tempo verbal.

Nos exercícios de completar, observe o sujeito da frase para escolher a forma correta do verbo to be (am, is ou are) e não se esqueça de acrescentar -ing ao verbo principal. A Busy Afternoon

It is four o'clock in the afternoon, and the Silva family is at home. Mr. Silva is in the kitchen. He is making a chocolate cake for his daughter's birthday. Mrs. Silva is in the living room. She is talking on the phone with her sister. Their son, Pedro, is in his bedroom. He is doing his English homework, but he is also listening to music. Their daughter, Ana, is in the backyard. She is playing with the dog and laughing a lot. Outside, it is raining, but everyone in the house is happy and busy. It is a normal afternoon for the Silva family.
